This project involves the construction of a 4,000 square foot addition to the existing Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) Bus Maintenance Facility at UMass Amherst. The addition includes a CIP Concrete foundation, is steel framed, with metal siding and membrane roof envelope. The main feature is the retrofitting of 2 existing two-post axle bus lifts adding a third post to each, enabling lifting and servicing of 60’ long articulated buses.
