The project involved the asbestos abatement as well as structural stabilization of two adjoining structures located at 5-7 Elm Street and the other at 13-31 Elm Street at the Court Square area of downtown Springfield. The project had a four and a half month performance period to make a 111,000 square foot decaying building safe and open for development. City Enterprise Inc completed the work on budget, ahead of schedule and without worker injury.
